The Medical Administrative
Assistant is an asset to
physicians in private
practice, staff physicians
of hospitals and clinics,
and other health
professionals. The
administrative procedures
include telephone handling,
appointment making, billing
and collections, insurance,
medical records maintenance,
and communication with all
patients and visitors. The
purpose of this program is
to prepare the graduate to
perform administrative
duties in a variety of
medical settings.
